Also, we have a new addition to the family

Sweet Pea

She is a 5 month old Rottweiler. She is very cute
and listens pretty well. We have had her since
March 16, 2010. She rides in the car fine and
we don't need to keep her on a leash here at the
house.

...holy shit

...I am such a bad blogger... I have good intentions I even have a
few drafts that I started but did not get to finish.

Unfortunately this one is going to be short as my laptop battery
is officially starting to come to an end. And I don't mean that it
just needs recharged I mean that Chase and I need to get
completely new batteries as they only last 15 minutes on a full charge.

Oh well...here is a picture of one of the reasons why I have been
a bad blogger for 2010.

Yelp we moved into a house. Yay! Well gots to
go as the battery is almost dead! Be back soon...

err..calm, satisfying....THIS STUPID FUCKING FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!!

Ya that about sums up my Sunday afternoon.
Err - I woke up around 7:30 a.m. and decided that was
to early to start the day so I fell back asleep. Unfortunately
I woke up again at 11:15 a.m. Err, I did not want to sleep
that late but oh well who gives a shit I'm the only one here.
Calm - After pancakes I started knitting and getting somewhere
hell ya I thought this is awesome I will actually be able to start
this drawstring chemise and get some where.
I was at the end of row 6 and I will be damned. I had 107 stitches
instead of 105.
That's when I kinda lost it but I thought chill and just undo this row.
Somehow I fucked up some more so I said damn and started to cast
on again.
Got to row 5 and realized that I was missing a ssk and decided to try
that row again.

While undoing this row I had one extra stitch and couldn't
figure out where so I undid what I thought was extra and then
somehow I dropped a couple more and couldn't figure out which ones
I had dropped and that is when all my neighbors who were outside heard...
THIS STUPID FUCKING FUCK FUCK FUCK !!!!!!!!
Now most of this Fucking Fuck Fuck was based on the fact that I have
tried to start this pattern about 4 times and end up fucking fuck fucking.
The last time that happened it sat for about 2 months
and then when I picked it back up I had to guess which row I was one
which of course ended up being the wrong one and I ended up with
extra stitches again. But all of this fucking fuck fuck is not just from
knitting frustrations but from family ones to.
Mom and Pop came up and well I love them but when there are multiple
people in one space without anything to tinker with things tend to
get claustrophobic. Also, Chase's grandmother was in he hospital
and dying so Wednesday Chase went over there. She passed at 1:00 a.m.
on Thursday, I think, so he just stayed until the funeral which was today.

I guess he has decided not to come home until like 3 a.m. Which
is frustrating and just errrrr. This is just ridiculous.

Additionally, I finished the Stephanie Plum series so I have
no more Morelli v. Ranger dilemmas to read about.
One good thing is the office will be relatively quite this week.
Yay!

I miss doing this. I miss entertaining myself! I have my camera
charged up so maybe I'll get some shots of stuff. The knitting
department here has not been going so good. I want to order the
kit on KnitPicks for a shawl. I am hoping to have this shirt started
and be on at least row 8 before I put it back down tomorrow.

Stay tuned to see if there will be any more stupid fucking fuck fuck fuck...

implosion

Implosion is the only word other than...
BOOM
That could describe my day today.
I got a raise yesterday which is great.
I was going to work early which also is great.
Hearing a BOOM while you have been driving for
5 minutes on your way to work...not so great.

After, Chase and I figured out in a split second that
the car was still going and it seemed okay a look in the
rear view mirror yielded a ... speckled, unclear view.

Because the entire back glass of the car had burst into
a million tiny pieces and then imploded upon itself.

Fabulous just fabulous. I am going to start not going
anywhere for weekends because when I plan to go
somewhere for a weekend things tend to implode,
explode, and crash.

The surprising thing out of all of this is the fact that
I found it funny, hilarious, completely calming before
I knew that the insurance would cover the cost of a new
back glass and that it will be fixed tomorrow.

Ya...fascinating life I lead ....

It's dark now so I will take pictures tomorrow.

incisive

............................remarkably clear and direct........................................
Ya, that just about sums it up.

It seemed to fit the mood. Spring will be here in about 2 weeks.
So I wonder if we will have a late one of these..

I kind of hope not but if it happens I won't have a fit.
Tomorrow would have been four months since a blog post.
I always think about doing a post and then something would
catch my attention and I would lose my train of thought.

Latest info well...I have gotten sick twice this winter.
First time in years and I get hit with a double whammy.

I have been trying to knit but I need something else like
music or a podcast or something else to distract me or
I will think to much about what I am doing and unravel the
entire thing. So not a lot of completed knitting has been well...
completed. Also, I moved the bedroom around so my camera
has been unplugged so no new pictures of anything for anybody.

Anyway back to losing my train of thought with knitting...I have
been wanting a touch screen mp3 player for a while but Chase
talked me out of it last time and I got something else instead.
An mp3 player that does not separate music by folders which
is necessary for me because I am an organizational freak! So
I worked a deal with mom and I will give her my current mp3
player and I will get a touch screen one. Mom does not need
folders ... I do.

Once I get that and download the podcast, mp3 converter
software stuff then I can sit, knit and listen to podcasts without
having my hot laptop in my lap.

Well I just thought I would sneak a note in letting everyone know
I am not dead and try not to bore with words when I can't make
up for it with pictures.

Time for sudoku!

....lights!

Christmas lights are outside but that is not a big
surprise. They are plain, but I like
the glow that they cast through the living room
window. Tomorrow is Monday ... ewwww......

House is clean today and hopefully it will stay that
way now that things have eased off. I am
wondering if it is going to snow soon.

We are getting a baby in the family so I need to
make a baby blanket. I'm thinking about Lily's
Sugar n' Cream cotton yarns.

I'm not sure about which color. Possible a light
color that includes dashes of colors. I thought
about knitting it out of bamboo but that is too
expensive plus if there is a mess the cotton
would be the easiest to clean.

There is a knitting meeting here on Wednesday,
I should go to it since I work on the Westover side.
Might as well, hopefully make some friends who are
locals. That would be great. I am really tired of having
a clean house that I only see. Before moms house
stayed a mess and now that I have a clean house
nobody comes to see it. Everybody moved out and
away. Sad when you embrace people then they leave.

I have been trying my hand at thumbless/fingerless
gloves here lately. I just can't get the ribbing to look
the way I desire. If I do the 2 & 2 that seems too equal.
Maybe a 3 & 2 or 4 & 2 may work better. I just hate
trial and error. I want to get it right on the first try lol.

I have been wanting to move out there for a long time now.
Some things seem to push the desire and probability more
and more especially how friends and family act. It might
be the best decision. Discovering my true self.

...hubris words...

As you will see I have successfully crammed a few things
into my life. Unfortunately, not all of these things are
wanted nor were all expected.

Doesn't look that bad but it was $2,100 in damage and 4 weeks of work.
As you can tell that gapping hole shouldn't be there. She is a trooper
even after the engine was shoved back and the battery was split
with its wonderful juices flowing all over the parking lot, it
still started and drove. Poor dobbins, he felt so bad about wrecking
but there wasn't anything anybody could have done. He couldn't
even get out of the drivers side door.

But this is why I was detained from your wedding Aimee...
unfortunately I couldn't pull $2,400 (including the towing and cite)
out of my ass. Plus gas costs.

So if you stay mad at me then that is unfortunate and sucks.

But what can you do when shit hits the fan.
